Initiatives
Things we do

Books' Maska
We do monthly book meet-ups where discuss books related to the theme. Interact and share stories with fellow readers in the city. And make friends too !!

We also have a bi-monthly book swap, which happens during the meet-up. It's a great way to get introduced to books, which are different from your preferred genre.
P.S. We also give out themed bookmarks at every meet-up based on the theme of the month.
Writers' Lounge
We host a weekly writing session helmed by Tanmay Kulkarni, a published author.
We have these sessions 3 of 4 Sundays every month
His idea was to change the notions about, writing being a solitary activity.
The format is, for the first couple of hrs, you write in peace and post that we share and get ideas and have discussions for an hour.
We also give a weekly writing prompt to help you write with some direction. It's optional to follow it tho.

Words and Voices
We host an intimate poetry open mic every 2 months or so. It is helmed by Pranav, who is an outstanding poet and performer.
Quoting him: "I wanted to provide a stage for our community, to come forward and express poetry, in whatever form they find comfortable. My primary objective was to make everyone comfortable so that we could have a small, intimate circle that was devoid of any judgment and filled with words of appreciation and affirmation."
Group Outings
We also organize art gallery/museum visits.
Since it's usually the case that we do not find people with whom we can go to such places.
If something interesting is happening in the city related to art, culture and literature, we plan a group outing.
We have been to the R.K. Laxman Museum, Handmade Paper Factory, Zapurza, etc. among other places.
We also plan to organize treks and
literary picnics in the future.

Vintage Volumes Society
We have a monthly classics society, which 2 of our younger members started.
We have a 'book of the month', on which we have in-depth discussions, covering different perspectives.
" Why Classics? ", you might ask.
Classical reads have stood the test of time and showcase that some stories are forever relevant. These works provide insights into many different worlds such as culture, philosophy, psychology, and human nature. Classics address universal themes such as love, power, morality, and spirituality which we sometimes might overlook in genre fiction.
